Tucked away behind cypress hedges, at the gates of Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, the 20-hectare Domaine de Chalamon is not revealed at first glance.
Yet the surprise is all the greater: this property has in fact the most beautiful gardens in the Alpilles.
In the heart of the Alpilles
Surrounded by pines and cypresses, the house covers nearly 1700 square meters.
Along the streams that meander through the property, various gardens follow one another around the house: parterres of carefully trimmed boxwoods, an esplanade of cypress trees, fields of olive trees formed into topiaries: a fascinating variety.
